Robert Spence

Robert (Bob) Spence is Emeritus Professor of Information Engineering at the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering of Imperial College in London. He was the inventor of several techniques such as Bifocal Display (also known as Fisheye Lens), the Prosection Matrix and the Attribute Explorer

He is also author of the book Information Visualisation (ISBN 0201596261), widely adopted by universities courses around the world
